Why shouldn’t we get what we want? I started paying my first bill when I was 12 and I learned that whatever I wanted I’d have to go get. As kids and even adults were taught that if we make the right choices regarding our futures that we’ll go on to have healthy and happy lives. The older we get the more we find out the harsh truth that life only gets harder and requires more work than we were initially told. The blue shirt is meant to be read as a singular piece, “hustle like you’re broke for something greater.” For me, that “something greater” was my son, becoming a father set me on a path of ambition and positivity. The “hustle” now is being the most complete person I can be in order to inspire him. My question to you reading this is not, what you are hustling to attain but, what are you hustling to protect?
